Life FM is owned and operated by Life Broadcasting, a registered non-profit company; and is a licensed community radio station, with a Christian ethos, based in Klerksdorp in the North West province of South Africa. Life FM came into existence due to a vision birthed in the hearts of Barend and Ayesha Fourie in 2011. Their desire was to establish a Christian Radio Station to serve the community of Matlosana and Tlokwe municipalities. In 2012 they gave substance to their vision, applied with ICASA to be licensed as a Community Radio Station, which license was granted and issued in November 2012. From humble beginnings in 2012 Life FM has grown into a force to be reckoned with, currently broadcasting on FM in both the Matlosana and Tlokwe municipal areas on 100.6 and 98.1, reaching an estimated 35 000 people. We have two transmitter sites, one in Klerksdorp and one in Potchefstroom: a vibrant presence on social media - active on Facebook, Instagram, SoundCloud and YouTube.
