Service Delivered
Ons is die oudste koshuis op kampus, iets wat weerspieël word in ons tradisisierykheid en waardes. Ratau se visie is om uitmuntendheid na te streef en te behaal met alles wat ons doen, almal saam, “hand-aan-hand saam”. Onder leiding van prof PJ van der Merwe het Ratau op 13 September 1940 sy deure as deel van die destydse Potchefstroomse Onderwyskollege (POK) geopen. Die koshuisnaam is ontleen aan prof Van der Merwe se bynaam in Tswana wat “Vader Leeu” beteken. In sy openingstoespraak het hy die woorde “In die Lig van die Vader” gebruik - wat tot vandag toe ons leuse is.
