So the Springboks proved yet again that we can be a great game changing nation, especially if politicians do not divide us (which they do in most cases)… and they play a game of opposites most of the time, what you say, I say the opposite, irrespective of our best efforts as a nation… bordering on the silly at times
So Much in Common
…together across all cultures and differences we actually have so much in common… and that despite our diversity, we are some of the best people in the world.
We have some of the sharpest humour globally, we thrive if somebody tells us something is impossible, and we go for it to show them the opposite…
Beer Ads and Colour
Our Beer ads depict our nation without politics, friends and neighbours socialising across all cultures and colours (colour by the way is a word we should remove from our vocabulary and replace with South Africans, colour is a paint, not a person) its a shame to still refer to some sort of colour even when completing your bank account information…
how silly is it that we have words such as white, black and coloured’s its crazy!… think about that for a second…
Our Children the Future
Our children are our best examples for our future, they hug each other, do naughty stuff, and great things together, in fact they are our future… and us as elders should pass on our wisdom to these youngsters…
We Love the Same Stuff
We love debating our Bakkies, our sport selections, our recipes for that perfect Chisa Nyama, how long the coals should be lit before its time for the braai (Barry Hilton) will tell you its about 6 hours before taking the meat from the freezer 🙃
The Real Issues
Could our politicians please step aside and let this nation move forward, our issues are not political… its poverty, , unemployment, service delivery, crime… caused by a large extent to false leadership and corruption … its about being dedicated, committed, being honest and driving our nation forward…
Leaders, Teams and Togetherness
its being Captains like Siya, its being players with attitude like Faf, its being game makers like Kolbe, it’s about being one team, it’s being South Africans with diversity but so much the same… let’s build our nation and let real leaders stand up to lead us where we know we all belong
