What you'll be doing:
Responsibilities:
* Provide customer service:
- Coach and guide salesclerks in product knowledge and selling skills
- Identify client needs and resolve queries.
- Advise and inform clients on product ranges and offers.
* Implement in-store promotions:
- Consult with suppliers and product managers to determine price and product offering.
-Do sales forecasts and initiate orders.
- Obtain promotional material, do merchandising and run promotion.
- Provide support and advice during promotion.
* Maintain and monitor stock availability:
- Perform stock forecasts and order stock.
- Ensure the correct receipt of stock according to procedures and policy.
- Merchandise and pricing of stock and ensure continuous stock taking.
- Analyse redundant stock reports and implement corrective measures.
- Liaise with suppliers regarding volumes, delivery terms and conditions.
