The 2025 Interhigh was a stage for strong performances, and our athletes did not disappoint. Competing against some of the best in the region, they gave it their all and brought home well-deserved medals.
Silver and Bronze
Bohlale Rampai showed great skill in the high jump, securing a silver medal for his efforts. On the track, Kgosi Mathabe put in a strong performance in the 1,500m, also earning silver.
Sprinters Phale Thembo and Onkarabile Masiu brought the speed, with Thembo grabbing bronze in the 100m and Masiu doing the same in the 400m.

Jordan Slambert Skitter by Park Run
Potchefstroom High School for Boys is trots om aan te kondig dat Jordan Slambert, 'n graad 11-leerder, eerste in sy ouderdomsgroep geëindig het by die onlangse Park Run. Hierdie is 'n fantastiese prestasie en 'n bewys van Jordan se deursettingsvermoë en toewyding aan sy sport.
'n Prestasie om te Vier
Jordan het met hierdie oorwinning sy talent en harde werk op die baan ten toon gestel. Om eerste in sy ouderdomsgroep te eindig, is nie net 'n persoonlike triomf nie, maar ook 'n groot eer vir die skool.
Trots op Jordan
Ons wil Jordan hartlik gelukwens met hierdie uitsonderlike prestasie. Ons weet dat hy nog baie meer hoogtes in sy sportloopbaan sal bereik, en ons sien uit na sy toekomstige suksesse.

Baillies Skaakspanne wen teen Hoërskool Ferdinand Postma
Baillies se junior en senior skaakspanne het hul vaardighede ten volle ten toon gestel met pragtige oorwinnings teen Hoërskool Ferdinand Postma. Die junior span het 'n noue oorwinning van 6-4 behaal, terwyl die senior span met 'n indrukwekkende telling van 7-3 triomfeer het.
Junior Span Se Noue Oorwinning
Die junior skaakspan het hard gewerk en uiteindelik met 'n 6-4 oorwinning weggestap. Hierdie oorwinning is 'n bewys van hul deursettingsvermoë en die strategiese denke wat hulle op die bord gewys het. Elke speler het 'n belangrike rol gespeel in hierdie oorwinning en het die skool met trots verteenwoordig.
Senior Span Se Uitsonderlike Prestasie
Die senior span het hul ervaring en talent getoon met 'n uitstekende 7-3 oorwinning. Hul oorheersing op die skaakbord was duidelik, en hierdie oorwinning beklemtoon hul toewyding en die harde werk wat in hul voorbereiding ingegaan het.
Op pad na Nog Groter Sukses
Hierdie oorwinnings is 'n geweldige prestasie vir beide spanne, en dit is duidelik dat Baillies se skaakspanne 'n blink toekoms voor hulle het. Die skool sien met groot verwagting uit na nog meer suksesvolle wedstryde in die toekoms.Baie geluk aan al die spelers—ons is baie trots op julle en weet dat daar nog vele oorwinnings op julle wag!

Potchefstroom High School for Boys Lentefees: 'n Geleentheid om nie mis te loop nie!
Potchefstroom High School for Boys nooi plaaslike besighede uit om op 19 September 2024 hul stalletjies op te stel by die skool se Lentefees. Hierdie fees is 'n ideale geleentheid vir entrepreneurs om hul produkte en dienste aan die gemeenskap bekend te stel.
Besonderhede oor Stalletjies
Vir besighede wat elektriese aansluitings benodig, is die koste R400, terwyl stalletjies sonder elektrisiteit beskikbaar is teen R300. Of jy nou kos, koffie, klere of ander bykomstighede aanbied, die skool verwelkom jou deelname met ope arms.

Potchefstroom High School for Boys nooi almal hartlik uit na hul Lentefees, oftewel die “Spring Bash,” wat plaasvind op 19 September 2024. Hierdie geleentheid beloof om 'n dag vol pret en vermaak vir die hele gesin te wees.
Wat om te Verwag
Die Lentefees gaan propvol aktiwiteite wees wat vir almal iets bied. Daar sal musiek wees, verskeie stalletjies, gladiatorspeletjies, 'n meganiese bul, en waterglybane—daar is iets vir elkeen om te geniet. Vir die jongspan is daar ook 'n springkasteel en 'n fotohokkie om spesiale herinneringe vas te vang. Die immergewilde "Dunk Tank" beloof ook om een van die hoogtepunte te wees.

Kaartjies is reeds beskikbaar in voorafverkoop teen R120 vir volwassenes en R60 vir kinders onder 6 jaar. Parkering is beskikbaar teen R20, so maak gerus jou plek gereed vir 'n dag wat jy nie wil misloop nie.
