If you’ve ever wondered what happens when sharp suits meet strong coffee, wonder no more. MEG Security is bringing its annual CEO Breakfast to Potchefstroom for the first time, and it’s shaping up to be more than just muffins and small talk.
Hosted by Dan Mochobo, the Chief Executive Officer of MEG Security, this event is more than a meet-and-greet. It’s a strategic morning session where business minds collide over eggs and strategy, tackling some of the big ideas shaping the future of security and leadership in South Africa.
What’s Brewing?
This year’s edition follows last year’s successful run in Klerksdorp at the Rio Hotel. On 10 April 2025, the Elgro Hotel in Potchefstroom will take centre stage as industry leaders, experts, and decision-makers gather for what’s been dubbed an exclusive, insightful, and impactful event (and they seem pretty confident about it—those words are everywhere).
Running from 08:30 to 12:00 (with coffee at 08:00, naturally), the breakfast is expected to stir up bold conversations around innovation, security trends, leadership, and collaboration.
Why Pitch Up?
Well, if you’re in business or anywhere near the security space, this is your chance to network with people who use “synergy” without flinching. According to MEG, it’s not just a chance to listen to experts drop knowledge—it’s about building real, useful connections and maybe even walking away with a few fresh ideas to bring back to your team.

A Little Toast to MEG
MEG Security is also using this event to mark its 20-year milestone in the industry. That’s two decades of guarding, guiding, and growing. So, if anything, come for the insight—and stay for the celebration (there may or may not be cake).
No word yet on what’s on the breakfast menu, but if the conversation’s anything like last year’s, it’ll be well worth the early wake-up.
