If you’ve ever stood in front of your wardrobe on a chilly morning, wondering how to turn a shapeless jumper and your gran’s scarf into something resembling an outfit, you’re not alone. The folks at She Course are putting on a workshop in Potchefstroom this May that’s got your back – literally, with a coat, scarf, and probably some bang-on accessories.
What’s Happening?
On Saturday, 3 May 2025, She Course will be hosting “The Art of Layering & Accessorising” at TORO, 99 Molen Street, Potchefstroom. It’s happening bright and early from 09:30 to 11:30, so you’ll still have time to go home and test out your new skills before lunch.
For R380 per person, you’ll get:
A seat at the workshop
A proper coffee (espresso-based nogal)
And a quiche – because learning is hungry work
What You’ll Learn
This isn’t one of those “just wear black, darling” kind of style sessions. You’ll get practical tips like:
How to incorporate colour and print into your winter outfits without looking like a walking patchwork quilt
Maximising your closet so you don’t need to buy five new coats (unless you want to)
Layering techniques and how to avoid looking like the Michelin Man
Must-have winter pieces and what’s actually available in shops now (no, not last season’s leftovers)
Why Bother?
The heart of the She Course workshops is all about celebrating womanhood and building confidence. This one’s about using accessories (hello scarves!) to feel stylish and warm at the same time. It’s not about trends; it’s about putting your best foot forward—even if that foot is wearing woolly socks and boots.
So, if you want to make the most out of what’s already in your wardrobe, or at least figure out how to tie a scarf in more than one way, this one’s worth checking out.

This might just be the workshop that helps you avoid wearing the same jersey every single day this winter. And if not? Well, at least you’ll get coffee and quiche out of it.
