Potchefstroom is gearing up for an exhilarating weekend as the North-West University's annual Rag event returns with a vibrant mix of music, community spirit, and entertainment. Slated for February 15 to 17, 2024, at the NWU Rag Farm, this year's festival promises an unforgettable experience with top artists, delicious food, and a noble cause at its heart.
RAG 2024 kicks off on February 15, presenting a unique opportunity for festival-goers to partake in a memorable day filled with music and philanthropy. The event continues through to February 17, with each day packed with performances by some of South Africa's most beloved artists. The primary aim of RAG 2024 is to support local community members and the Student Representative Council's (SRCS) projects, making each ticket not just a pass to entertainment but also a contribution to a good cause.

February 15: Starting at 17:00, the evening will feature artists like Anzelle, Rooksein, and Biggy, culminating in a performance by Francois at 22:00.
February 16: The music resumes at 18:00 with Brendan Peyper, followed by the likes of Ricus Nel and Die Heuwels Fantasties, ending with Bok van Blerk's performance.
To complement the musical performances, the festival will host local vendors offering a variety of food and refreshments, alongside a beer tent for attendees to enjoy.
