Paint, but Make It Glow
Potchefstroom is set to light up – literally – with the upcoming Under the Sea Glow Paint Party, happening on 26 April 2025. Hosted by My Creative Fix, this event promises an evening of UV lights, neon paints, and aquatic-themed creativity. Whether you're a full-time Picasso or just there for the vibes, it's about grabbing a brush and letting your jellyfish flag fly.
What’s the Deal?
The glow party kicks off at 17:30 and winds down at 20:00, taking place at 9 Reitz Street, Bult, Potch. Tickets are R250 a pop, which covers all materials – so no need to raid your kid’s stationery drawer. You’ll be painting with neon paints on black paper board, which makes the colours pop like a disco in Atlantis. Also, tea, coffee, and juice will be provided – caffeine and creativity go hand in hand, after all.
Who's Running This Ship?
The event is led by Leanne, who’s bringing her creative energy to guide participants through the process. It’s not just for seasoned artists – anyone aged 10 and up is welcome, though minors need to bring an adult along for supervision (and maybe to carry the snacks).
Dress the Part
This isn’t the night to wear your greys and khakis. The dress code calls for white or neon clothing – anything that’ll light up under black light and make you look like you’ve just stepped off a submarine rave.
