Monday Mood: Carbs, Cheese & Good Decisions 😄 We always start the week with pasta… because honestly, we all need carbs and cheese to emotionally and physically prepare for Monday. Today’s Special: Mac & Cheese – R85 🧀🍝 500g We start with a thick, creamy white sauce spiced with nutmeg, paprika and allspice, with a splash of chicken stock for extra savoury goodness. Then we slice up wood-smoked russians and cheese grillers and pan-fry them until crispy and golden with spring onion. Our trusty macaroni is cooked al dente, everything gets layered together with herbs, chives and plenty of cheddar… then layered again… and again. Slow cooked for an hour until it’s smoky, creamy, cheesy perfection. Served with a fresh square panini roll because sauce must be mopped.
