Duties Include:

Immediate Availability We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Store Clerk to join our team in Klerksdorp. This permanent position is available immediately and requires relocation if you are not based locally. Role Summary: The Store Clerk will be responsible for managing inventory, ensuring accurate receipt and storage of goods, maintaining organized documentation, liaising closely with the procurement department to ensure stock deliveries are correctly allocated within the ERP system, and upholding company standards of cleanliness and safety within the storage facilities. Primary Responsibilities: 1. Goods Receiving and Inspection: o Receive incoming goods, verify quantities, quality, and specifications against purchase orders and delivery notes. o Document discrepancies or damages, promptly notifying relevant departments. 2. Inventory Management: o Accurately enter received items into the ERP inventory management system. o Regularly update inventory records to reflect accurate stock levels. o Conduct routine stock counts and assist in periodic inventory audits. 3. Storage and Organization: o Ensure proper storage of goods, maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within storage areas. o Follow FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principles or other inventory management guidelines as directed. 4. Documentation and Reporting: o Maintain detailed records of inventory movements, receipts, and discrepancies. o Generate regular inventory reports for management review. 5. Safety and Compliance: o Adhere to health, safety, and compliance guidelines. o Report any safety hazards or incidents immediately to appropriate authorities. 6. Support and Coordination: o Liaise closely with the procurement department to ensure deliveries are correctly allocated in Syspro and Profifab systems. o Coordinate with sales and logistics teams to ensure smooth operational processes. o Provide assistance with other store-related tasks as required.
