Description Of Essential Duties: Key Performance Areas The Team Leader is responsible for assisting the Senior Site Supervisor: a) Ensure H&S protocols are maintained. b) Take responsibility of team on site and ensure that team completes project on time and the quality of workmanship. c) Liaise and communicate with clients. d) Quality of test reports. e) Look after the condition of test equipment. Condition of test equipment to be kept in a good clean working condition. f) Basic application of knowledge on protection and methodology thereof. g) Programme and operate sophisticated testing instruments and interpret the results. h) Compare testing results with OEM specifications. i) Do fine detailed adjustments to the equipment when possible. j) Capture test results accurately in detail. k) Do installation of new and old switchgear to OEM specifications. l) Do fault finding on existing equipment with and without schematic diagrams. m) Replace faulty components in circuit breakers and control switchgear. n) Do and fulfil standby duties. o) Assist Supervisor on site with any relevant task. p) Compile maintenance test reports files and data to be submitted to client. q) Report back to Manager on relevant information from site (challenges, progress, updates etc) r) Oversee work done by Technicians & Electricians.
