Duties Include:
ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking a fully qualified and SACPCMP-registered Construction Health and Safety Manager (CHSM) to join our professional team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, particularly the Occupational Health and Safety Act (Act 85 of 1993) and associated Construction Regulations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Review and evaluate safety documentation and project-specific health and safety plans.
Conduct regular risk assessments, site inspections, and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
Investigate incidents and compile detailed reports with recommendations for corrective actions.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all safety-related activities and communications.
