Qualifications & Experience:
Tertiary qualification in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
Proven track record (3+ years) in corporate sales, specifically in selling to large retailers or managing key accounts.
Strong command of quotations, pricing structures, rebates/allowances, and invoicing— think margin, not just volume.
Proven negotiation and closing skills on high-value, multi-store deals with complex stakeholders.
Proven experience in sales report writing and data analysis.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders and close high-value deals.
Familiar with receiving, processing, and dispatching of merchant store requests and customer query resolution.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of the sales process from lead generation to closing.
Nice to Have:
Solar geyser/PV power technical familiarity (you can translate tech into value).
Experience with retail group membership models, rebates/advertising allowances, and promo claims.
Existing relationships in hardware/building merchants and big-box retail.
Excellent Excel, PowerPoint, Canva, and CRM discipline will be advantages.

Apollo Solar Technology is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Corporate Account Sales / Key Accounts Sales professional to join our team in the solar power and solar geyser industry. This is a standalone role suited to a strong sales performer with a proven track record of owning, growing, and expanding large retailer and merchant group accounts.
You will be responsible for driving sales, managing strategic accounts, and delivering exceptional service across major retail clients. If you’re passionate about renewable energy solutions and you know how to build long-term corporate relationships while guiding deals from first contact to cash, we want to hear from you.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
1) Key Account Ownership & Growth
Own, manage, and grow a portfolio of major retail and merchant group accounts.
Build multi-level relationships across Head Office, regional management, and store-level stakeholders.
Expand business within existing groups and open new doors within the retail network.
2) Sales & Business Development
Identify and develop new business opportunities with large retailers and independent merchant groups.
Promote category growth and increase product sell-through across accounts.
Drive strategic account plans to achieve volume, margin, and mix targets.
3) Solution Selling, Quotations & Pricing Integrity
Accurately scope client requirements and recommend tailored solutions.
Prepare compliant quotations and bundled offerings (products, accessories, and installation where applicable).
Protect margin and ensure pricing integrity across promotions and deal structures.
4) Negotiation & Deal Closure
Lead negotiations and close high-value deals.
Ensure contracts, agreements, and pricing are executed accurately and professionally.
5) Order Flow, Fulfilment & Invoicing
Coordinate order flow with Logistics/Warehouse (picking, dispatch, delivery tracking).
Manage lead times, back-orders, and clear communication with stores and stakeholders.
Ensure accurate, timely invoicing for all sales transactions.
6) After-Sales Service, Warranty & Query Resolution
Deliver excellent after-sales care, including follow-ups and issue resolution.
Log and manage warranty queries and technician call-outs where required.
Protect the brand through fast, clear, and well-documented client feedback loops.
7) Pipeline, Forecasting, Reporting & Market Intelligence
Maintain accurate CRM and account records.
Provide weekly forecasts, key-account activity reports, and lost-deal insights.
Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and product developments to support consultative selling.
8) Merchandising, Training & Activations
Support promotional launches, merchandising initiatives, and in-store readiness.
Conduct store-level training to uplift product knowledge and confidence.
Plan and attend store visits, roadshows, and gazebo activations; demonstrate products, capture leads, and drive conversions.
