Bafenyi Trust is a registered Non-Profit Organisation based in Promosa, Potchefstroom, with a vision to help people win regardless of their circumstances. We serve 1000 beneficiaries per week with a meal, life skills training, biblical teachings, and educational support.
The role:
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Office Manager Assistant to provide administrative and operational support to the Director and Administrator. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, capturing program data, managing attendance registers, supporting compliance with National Lotteries Commission (NLC) funding requirements and Department of Social Development (DSD) funding and reporting requirements, and assisting with the day-to-day administration of the organisation. The role requires excellent organisational skills, confidentiality, accuracy, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced nonprofit environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to the management team.
Capture and maintain accurate program data, including attendance registers, beneficiary records, and other organisational databases.
Assist in preparing, organising, and maintaining documentation required for National Lotteries Commission (NLC) funding compliance as well as the Department of Social Development (DSD).
Maintain organised electronic and manual filing systems for programs, financial, and administrative records.
Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes.
Maintain confidential records and ensure compliance with organisational policies and data protection requirements.
Support program staff with administrative tasks related to projects and funded programmes.
Perform any other reasonable administrative duties assigned by the Director or Supervisor.
