Duties & Responsibilities
Developing and executing regional sales strategies for milling products or inputs (e.g., animal feed, grain, mill linings).
Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
Marketing management strategies to grow brand awareness
Calling on customers
Manage in-store promotions
Analyzing sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
Providing technical support and ensuring effective product positioning.
Strong understanding of the local South African market.
Technical aptitude or background in milling
Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Implementing sales plans, achieving targets, managing budgets, and acting as a liaison between field teams and management, often with requirements for extensive travel and deep product knowledge
Reporting on competitor activity
Control of Customer stock assignments
