PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

Be responsible for supervising all drivers and assistants in their daily operations.

Be responsible for managing all Customer Liaisons and Zonal Controllers.

Act as a focal point for customer problems, questions or concerns for the Branch.

REPORTING TO:

Operations Director

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

To manage and co-ordinate logistics activities for the successful execution of the business plan and implementation of company strategies while ensuring optimal logistics flows.

Planning all routes and daily operations of the drivers.

Make daily vehicle checks on route and off route.

Track all vehicles.

Monitor fuel usage of all vehicles.

Transfer metrics of Brima vehicles back to into the individual files.

Make up and keep timesheets for audit purposes.

Monitor whether deliveries arrive on schedule.

Assist workshop staff with vehicle maintenance schedules.

Ensure tyre maintenance and tyre replacements are done on time.

Assist with customer collections and payments.

Assist in managing collecting agents and their daily performance.

Make sure that all staff are well managed and monitored.

Do performance measurements for staff.

Do Weekly/Monthly reports for the Operations Director.

Responsible for training staff.
