Read and interpret specifications, drawings, blueprints and diagrams to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks and waste/drawings systems. Inspection, testing and accurate reporting of equipment defects/deficiencies. Install, repair and maintain plumbing systems and components including sprinkler systems. Install, repair and maintain water treatment equipment, water piping systems, water heaters and air conditioners. Ensure the appropriate building and environmental legislations are met. Perform regular maintenance in the field. Assist in the scoping and planning out new work. Assist sewage treatment and water treatment plant operators with any work required on life stations.
