Dispatch Supervisor

Experience Needed:

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a dispatch or distribution environment. Previous experience in the food industry will be highly advantageous.

Requirements:

Own reliable transport and a valid driver’s license. Must have no criminal record. Proficient in both English and Afrikaans (spoken and written). Computer literate – comfortable using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Training on in-house systems and software will be provided. Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public/religious holidays as required by the operational schedule.

Duties Include:

Supervise and coordinate the loading of trucks to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. Oversee and verify invoicing processes to ensure documentation accuracy. Maintain stock control, including reconciling dispatch quantities and preventing stock losses. Handle logistical planning to optimize routes and delivery schedules. Liaise with internal departments and drivers to ensure smooth daily operations.
