What We’re Looking For:
Qualifications: A Degree in Accounting is essential with a minimum of 3 years post-article experience.
Technical Expertise: Strong accounting skills with proven proficiency in accounting systems, payroll software, eFiling, and Easyfile. Sage Evolution and Power BI will be beneficial.
Analytical Prowess: Exceptional analytical skills and a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy and reliability in financial operations.
Resilience Under Pressure: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, meet tight deadlines, and deliver high-quality work under pressure.
Self-Driven Leadership: A dynamic self-starter who takes ownership of their role, operates independently, and effectively leads and mentors their team.
Problem-Solving Mindset: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities and implement solutions that drive financial and operational efficiency.
Duties Include:
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Financial Oversight: Drive financial planning, budgeting, and reporting to support business objectives.
Accounting Operations: Oversee financial processing up to trial balance and prepare accurate monthly management accounts.
Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal operational efficiency.
Costing and Pricing Systems: Design and maintain robust systems for accurate standard pricing estimates.
Policy Implementation and Controls: Establish and enforce accounting policies while ensuring the effectiveness of internal controls.
Statutory Compliance: Ensure full compliance with statutory requirements, including the preparation and submission of returns.
Leadership and Collaboration: Provide financial administration and support while effectively managing and guiding your team.
