National Diploma/Degree in Safety Management or similar.
SAMTRAC, HIRA, Incident Investigation & ISO 45001/14001 knowledge.
Strong contractor management & communication skills.

Duties Include:
The HSE Manager will lead all Health, Safety and Environmental functions on a large-scale Solar PV construction site in Parys. The role requires a SACPCMP-registered CHSM with proven experience managing HSE systems, legal compliance, contractor performance, and high-risk activity oversight within the construction and renewable energy sectors.
The HSE Manager will ensure the project complies with all relevant legislation, Construction Regulations, ISO standards, and client HSE requirements, while driving a proactive safety culture across site operations.
Duties & Responsibilities
Serve as appointed CHSM for the PV site.
Oversee all HSE compliance, risk assessments, method statements & legal documents.
Lead daily site inspections, high-risk activity monitoring & contractor audits.
Manage HSE files, incident investigations, NCRs & corrective actions.
Conduct inductions, toolbox talks & subcontractor onboarding.
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly HSE reports for client and EPC teams.
Lead emergency response planning & ISO-aligned HSE systems.
