The Long Hole Rig Operator is responsible for the safe operation, setup, and tramming of the HPS H80 LHR, achieving daily operational targets, training, recording prescribed operational data and reports, and ensuring the maintenance of rig and related HPS equipment. Job Vacancy Description (Tasks and Responsibilities): ✔ Maintain Safety, Health, and Environmental practices according to standards and procedures ✔ Perform proper machine setup procedures ✔ Conduct pre-use inspections using a checklist and physically testing the equipment ✔ Drill required holes using the H80 LHR according to set standards and procedures ✔ Diagnose problem areas and report any safety concerns ✔ Perform maintenance and repairs on equipment, including mechanical and electrical components, scheduled maintenance, and fault finding ✔ Operate H80 LHR to drill long holes as per drill design ✔ Perform end-of-shift procedures ✔ Execute any other assigned tasks necessary for the effective completion of work
