Qualifications and skills
⦁ Matric certificate; Higher Technical Qualification advantageous
⦁ Minimum 3 years’ experience in a technical sales environment
⦁ Valid driver’s license and own vehicle
⦁ Computer literate (MS Office)
⦁ Strong customer/sales orientation with proven sales ability
⦁ Excellent negotiation skills; dynamic, motivated, and results-driven
⦁ Ability to explain technical products to non-technical customers
Duties Include:
Key responsibilities
⦁ Discuss needs and how products/services meet those needs
⦁ Respond to inquiries about products, prices, availability, and credit terms
⦁ Quote prices, credit terms, or other bid specifications
⦁ Emphasize product features based on customer needs and product knowledge
⦁ Negotiate prices and terms of sales or service agreements
⦁ Maintain customer records using automated systems
⦁ Assist customers in selecting products based on needs, specifications, and regulations
⦁ Work closely with draftsmen, laser operators, and the production team to ensure we deliver a superior product to every client.
