MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Grade 12/NQF Level 4 qualification is essential.
Facility Management Certificate or NQF 5 Equivalent is essential.
Safety Certificate is essential.
Quality Management/ Civil Engineering Diploma or NQF 6 Equivalent is desirable.
Civil/Engineering Trade Certificate is desirable.
Minimum 2 years construction experience is essential.
2 years supervisory experience is essential.
Valid medical certificate or be medically fit to obtain such a certificate

Duties Include:
PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To ensure that quality and standard of maintenance, construction and safety standards for properties
at housing and residences meet the requirements of Impala standards and NHBRC guidelines.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
Schedules maintenance work to be carried out.
Inspects, schedules and controls maintenance or monitors work in progress.
Programs and executes all internal quality audits and reports results to Management.
Ensures that a consistently high standard of quality control and supervision is maintained for each contract.
Always provides a service to the contract administrator by ensuring that the standards of work and the materials
supplied by contractors are as specified in accordance with the contract information.
Is familiar with the relevant drawings and written instructions, checks them, and uses them as a reference when
inspecting work
