Duties & Responsibilities
Checks or signs all final worksheets for admin office.
Adheres to safety practices, procedures and good housekeeping as laid down by Management.
Observes weekly planned tasks on critical operational areas.
Works overtime and standby when required.
Installs, terminates and maintains all telecommunication cabling infrastructure on copper and fibre cables.
Does fault finding and locating with test equipment on fibre and copper cables.
Attends to call outs and breakdowns on cable infrastructure, power backup and telecommunication equipment accurately and as quickly as possible.
Always maintains good housekeeping in all telecommunication exchange/workshop areas and reports faulty access control systems and air-conditioner systems in exchanges.
Provides the best possible telecommunication service to all our customers (internal and external).
