Quality \& Technical Support Engineer

Experience Needed:

Minimum Qualification - Any technical tertiary qualification (Bachelor or Diploma level) - Experience in a technical manufacturing environment will be an added advantage.


Required Skills and Personal Attributes - Strong analytical thinker with exceptional problem-solving skills able to solve complex problems and implement creative solutions. - Ability to work to tight deadlines, under pressure and complete assigned tasks within time and budget restraints. - Work with high energy and momentum with the competence to distil complex information quickly and take intelligent action. - Technology sawy and able to research, analyse and implement new solutions quickly. - A good aptitude to understanding mechanical and technical systems. - Experienced in designing and implementing cost-effective and practical solutions - Ability to create accurate and concise technical. - Excellent communication \& people skills. - Ability to work independently in a team environment with good management skills. - Physically fit and energetic with sober habits. - Ability to manage own time.

Duties Include:

This position is a dynamic multidisciplinary position within the Manufacturing Organication of Jonker Saiplanes. The position consists of engineering and qualty related administration tasks. You will be expected to: - Management of Defects: - Material Review Board (MRB) member - review of non-conforming parts, - Manage and administer non-conformances and associated design changes, - Conduct root cause analysis and experimental investigations, - Analyse data and draw meaningful conclusions, - Provide engineering support for production activities to maximize production outputs. - Evaluate current production activities and make recommendations for improvements. - Implement cost reduction initiatives while maintaining high quality standards. - Develop and execute methods and procedures to test and inspect product quality. - Support quality goals and objectives along with activities to identify, explain and resolve quality issues. - Render Technical Support to the customer support team to address customer technical queries. - Investigate all customer complaints and issues and handle technical problems for products. - Ad hoc engineering projects as assigned.

Additional Info:

Working Hours: 07:00 - 16:00 (Monday - Friday). From time to time, it will be required to work outside these hours in order to meet delivery schedules or as operational planning might require. Closing Date: 15 May 2024
