GENERAL DUTIES:

Assists the Boilermaker

Perform welding tasks as part of duties as Boilermaker Assistant

Inspect, service and maintain all structures for wear and tear and defects

Repairing and maintenance of equipment required for the production processes

Perform breakdown maintenance on all equipment

Install, move new equipment and modify existing equipment

Conducts the cleaning of equipment.

Inspects equipment to ensure proper functioning

Health & Safety/Governance and Compliance

Adhere to and meet all relevant safety targets and measurements within the area of responsibility

Adheres and enforces all health and safety regulations and report all safety hazards, accidents and incidents to relevant parties

Adhere to and lead in the compliance of all Environmental Health and Safety and all other applicable regulatory statutes and all other safety and quality systems

Ensure alignment of all work processes to the required quality standards action agreed quality initiatives ensuring that they are aligned to tasks/ processes/ systems Implement corrective actions identified within specified time
