PURPOSE:
To develop, implement and manage safety risk control programmes, as well as ensuring legal compliance and provision of a safety advisory and reporting service to the Operational Unit or Area.

GENERAL DUTIES:
The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to:

Conduct SHEO and Legal compliance audits, incident accident investigations, inquiries, safety inspections and risk assessments.

Proactive risk identification, mitigation and compliance according to the required legislation and company.

Identify and analyse risk factors / leading indicators and controls within the system and projects.

Advise Projects / Site management on HSE/Risk performance and compliance to legal Corporate and reporting requirements by the Projects.

Compile an Annual plan and submit to the Safety Manager for approval and ensure that Audits are performed as per the approved Audit Plan.

Manage and maintain the SHE Reporting safety management system and conduct trend analysis of incidents.

Participate in developing SHEQ COPs, Policies, Standards and Procedures.

Effective self-management in alignment with KNTP values and leadership initiatives.
