Duties Include:
PURPOSE:
The purpose of the LDV Driver role is to safely transport employees, visitors, equipment and materials within the mining operation while ensuring compliance with mine traffic rules, vehicle safety requirements and operational procedures.
GENERAL DUTIES:
Transport employees, visitors, equipment and materials safely to designated areas.
Conduct daily pre-start vehicle inspections and report defects.
Ensure vehicles are clean, roadworthy and properly maintained.
Comply with mine traffic rules and company safety procedures.
Complete vehicle logbooks and trip records accurately.
Assist with general logistics and messenger duties when required
