REQUIREMENTS:
Grade 12 or Equivalent qualification
Diesel Mechanic Trade Certificate issued in terms of section 13 or 26D
Have a minimum of 3 years' experience as a TMM Diesel Mechanic
Must be experienced in fault finding and repairs on the electrical portion of TMM machines
Extensive knowledge Rham LHD, Maubra, Uri, Bell, Luigong
Extensive knowledge on Plant TMM Machinery (Front End Loader, Articulated Dump Truck, Excavator, Skid steer, Grader, Dozer)
PLC experience would be advantageous
Knowledge of Electro/ Pneumatic equipment
Knowledge of lubricants and lubrication systems
Knowledge of gearboxes, differentials and turbo diesel engines
Valid Drivers' License (Own Transport)

Duties Include:
ROLE SUMMARY:
To assist with the maintenance and repair of heavy earthmoving equipment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
Attend to Breakdowns and emergencies as required
Ensure that material spares and equipment are available as required
Exercise judgement with regards to replacement of components
Records results of legalexaminations in the appropriate format
Conduct continuous maintenance as per schedule
Do fault finding and repairs
After inspection, provide a lead time on breakdowns
