Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent qualification.
Relevant supervisory, control room, mining operations certificate will be advantageous.
Legal Liability and basic Mine Health and Safety training will be advantageous.
Computer literacy and experience using mine communication, reporting or production control systems will be advantageous.
Valid medical fitness certificate for underground mining work
Minimum 3 Years' experience.

Duties Include:
PURPOSE:
The purpose of the Control Supervisor is to coordinate, monitor and control underground operational activities from the control or dispatch function, ensuring accurate communication, proper reporting, effective resource coordination and timely response to production, safety and equipment-related issues.
GENERAL DUTIES:
Monitor underground operational activities, personnel movements, equipment status and production progress from the control function.
Coordinate communication between underground teams, supervisors, engineering, safety and management.
Receive, record and escalate breakdowns, delays, incidents, emergencies and production-related issues.
Allocate or coordinate resources according to shift requirements, operational priorities and supervisor instructions.
Maintain accurate control room logs, shift reports, call records, equipment movements and production updates.
Track adherence to shift plans and communicate deviations affecting safety, production or equipment availability.
Support emergency response by activating communication channels and following site escalation procedures.
Ensure control systems, radios, phones and reporting tools are used correctly and kept operational.
