PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
To manage, coordinate, and control the staff complement of earthmoving equipment operators and labourers involved in the demolition and rehabilitation of redundant mining sites, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operations across multiple work areas and project locations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. EQUIPMENT & MAINTENANCE MANAGEMENT
Oversee equipment operation and maintenance (O&M) inspections

Compile and submit equipment inspection reports

Monitor diesel usage, fuel reconciliation, and fuel control reporting

Ensure equipment availability and minimise downtime

Coordinate maintenance requirements with workshop/service providers

Ensure operators conduct daily machine inspections

2. OPERATIONAL MANAGEMENT
Manage rehabilitation and demolition activities across multiple sites to achieve operational and production targets

Production planning and scheduling

Site supervision and operational coordination

Monitor rehabilitation and demolition progress

Generate daily, weekly, and monthly production reports

Ensure productivity targets and deadlines are achieved

Oversee multiple operational areas simultaneously

Allocate resources efficiently across sites

3. STAFF MANAGEMENT & ADMINISTRATION
Manage and supervise operators, labourers, and site personnel effectively

WORKING CONDITIONS
Mining and industrial site conditions

Travel between operational sites may be required

Ability to work extended hours when operationally required
