Experience Needed:

Completed a recognized trade in Fitting and Turning. A minimum of NTC 3 mechanical with fitting trade theory. A minimum of ten (10) years’ experience on deep level mine dewatering. Thorough knowledge Sulzer multistage pumps, H.P. Shaft columns, H.P. and Surge anticipation valves. A Medical Certificate of Fitness. English proficiency. A valid driver’s license. The following will be advantageous: Successfully completed a recognized laser alignment course. Successfully completed Hydraulic system courses. Knowledge of vibration analysis. Knowledge of shaft and headgear infrastructure and maintenance thereof. Knowledge of the Mine Health & Safety Act and Regulations.

Duties Include:

You will be required to: Do fault finding on hydraulic systems. Conduct maintenance on multistage pumps. Conduct maintenance on high pressure valves. Conduct maintenance on shaft infrastructure. Maintain vertical shaft pump columns.
