1 year Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) experience
1 year of full lifecycle experience (concept → design → manufacture → site → failure feedback)

Role purpose
The Design Engineer is responsible for developing innovative solutions, systems, and component designs for use within the mining industry. By collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental requirements, this role supports operational excellence and sustainable growth.
Role Responsibilities
Develop innovative design solutions for mining equipment to enhance operational efficiency and safety
Optimise design processes to improve project turnaround time and resource allocation
Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations in all design projects
Drive innovation in design by integrating advanced technologies and materials
Collaborate with stakeholders to align design projects with business objectives and client needs
Work closely with cross-functional teams including engineers, product managers and clients
Create detailed 3D models and technical drawings using CAD software
