Minimum Requirements:
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Education (Master’s degree in Educational Leadership or equivalent will be an advantage).
• At least 10 years of proven experience in educational management, preferably in a senior leadership position.
• Comprehensive knowledge of academic management, curriculum planning, and assessment systems.
• Strong leadership and staff management skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, and build high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective engagement with staff, parents, learners, and stakeholders.
• Computer literate and proficient in modern educational technologies and data management systems.
• Demonstrated ability to foster a positive school culture that upholds discipline, integrity, and academic rigor.
• Proven competence in strategic planning, budgeting, and resource management.
• Strong commitment to continuous improvement, innovation, and learner-centered education.
• Ability to uphold the vision, mission, and values of Meridian Rustenburg and lead by example.
Duties Include:
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide visionary and strategic leadership to the High School.
• Oversee curriculum implementation, teaching standards, and learner performance.
• Manage and develop staff through professional growth and performance appraisal programs.
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration among all school departments.
• Maintain high standards of discipline, conduct, and academic integrity.
• Implement policies that promote a safe, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment.
• Represent the High School in meetings, events, and external engagements.
• Manage and administer NSC Examinations.
