Hub Head Coach (lkageng Hub)

Experience Needed:

a) A minimum of 2 years working in a sport development area. a) Grade 12 qualification b) Driver’s license c) Level 2 Coaching qualification a) Knowledge of Cricket b) Computer literacy (Microsoft Suite - Excel, Power point, Word, Database programmers. c) Affiliate / Associate and CSA Transformation requirements.

Duties Include:

The incumbent will be responsible for the following key delivery areas: 1 . Administering the HUB Cricket programme. 2. Implementing a sustainable and measurable Coaching programme. 3. Management of Practice and Playing facilities. To administer the HUB Cricket programme a) Co-ordinate the Hub programme at Mini Cricket / Schools / Club levels b) C0-ordinate and administer Area league age group cricket and ensuring that all fixtures are honored. c) Compiling and updating of players data base and statistics. d) Liaising with the Municipality regarding field maintenance and improvements. e) Making transport arrangements for Hub programmes. f) Maintain an asset register of playing, coaching, office, and electronic equipment. g) Compiling of the monthly report on all systems for CSA and North West Cricket. h) Setting up practice and fixture venues. i) Compiling monthly recon and cash flow. j) Provide leadership and direction to the coaching staff within the hub. k) Develop and implement training programs that align with the organization's philosophy and goals. l) Mentor and motivate athletes to reach their full potential both athletically, academically, and personally. m) Collaborate with other coaches and staff members to ensure a cohesive and positive environment for athletes. KEY DELIVERY AREA NO 2 a) Implementing a sustainable and measurable Coaching programme. b) Produce players for the regional, provincial, and Provincial age group teams. c) Entering team into mainstream leagues at school and club levels. d) Increase participation numbers of players / scorers / umpires / team managers and coaches. e) Host coaching, scorers, and umpire courses at the Hub. f) Improve performance of individual players and teams. g) Absorb Mini Cricket graduates into hardball structures. a) Management of Practice and Playing facilities. b) Ensure quality preparation and maintenance of facilities. c) Record on monthly basis status of facilities. d) Identify new needs.
