A minimum of one (1) year client full-service delivery experience – human movement science projects at university or school level.
A minimum of one (1) year teaching, learning and training experience – working with students/learners.

KEY FUNCTIONAL/ TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:
Service provider in Human Movement Science, but able to work in a multi-disciplinary field.
Teaching and learning, for rotation of Human Movement Science students.
Worked with some specialized equipment: Watt Bike, Cybex, SVT Vision Board, Smart Speed, Inbody, Force Plates, Vo2max, Power plates, Micro gate.
Experience as Human Movement Scientist in Rugby, Soccer, Hockey, Tennis, and/or Athletics (Various Events).
Experience in client evaluation, giving feedback verbally as well as in report format, including recommendations on program prescriptions.
Computer literate with a working knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), emails, online sharing, and drive systems as well as electronic diaries and calendars.
Experience with cloud-based online database systems, monitoring systems, and communication platforms (Zoom or MS Teams).

Job description
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Full-time Human Movement Scientist (Full day).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Service Delivery
Services as a sport scientist/ human movement scientist in the CHHP that forms part of the 3rd income.
Teaching and Learning
Sport science protocol training for students.
Management
Project co-leader for service level agreements: certain aspects of rugby, soccer, hockey, tennis, and/or athletics services (mainly NWU services along with NW schools).
Administration
AMS and data capturing, monitoring, reports, programs, and feedback, etc.

REMUNERATION
The annual total remuneration package will be commensurate with the level of appointment as advertised and in line with the NWU policy guidelines.
