Experience Needed:

Minimum Requirements Qualifications:  Trade Certificate (Red Seal)  Valid code 8 driver’s license. Experience:  Three to five years’ experience as an Artisan Mechanic, preferably within the readymix concrete plant or similar industry.

Duties Include:

Technical key performance areas:  Perform preventative maintenance troubleshooting and repairs on a wide range of ready-mix plant equipment and administer a comprehensive preventative maintenance program for all vehicles and equipment.  Strong mechanical abilities on machinery.  Maintain records on all maintenance and repair of vehicles and equipment.  Maintain an inventory record or parts and shop supplies.  Inspect all vehicles of OMV on a regular basis.  Repair any breakdowns on mobile and stationary equipment.  Assist with administrative duties regarding the repair of equipment.  Comply with the national vehicle requirement.  Strict adherence to all HSE policy, procedure and requirements.  Maintain costs by using warranties and evaluating all part options.  Be willing and available to attend to breakdowns and vehicle retrievals, if required.  Consistent in maintaining high standard of working ability.  Steady and willing producer, work needs minimum supervision.  Ability to meet deadlines and is willing to perform additional duties if required.  Upkeeping and maintaining of toolbox
