Experience Needed:

Matric with relevant administrative experience. Accounts background will prove advantageous. Management experience of at least 5 years in the medical industry compulsory. Need to have good understanding of the healthcare industry. Understanding of PMB process. Understanding of ICD10, RPL, and specialist billing rules. Medical Billing Software skills (Medermass/GOODX)

Requirements:

Good communication skills. Attention to detail is crucial. Well acquainted with Microsoft Office suite. Will be able to meet deadlines. Friendly, presentable, confident, professional attitude. Ability to work under pressure. Assertive with good communication skills and the ability to access and use information.

Duties Include:

Reviewing capture of billing and Patient information. Assisting office team with daily queries. Assisting Practice with queries. Ensure that all medical aid claims are submitted within the regulated time frame in respect of the Medical Schemes Act and that any rejections are promptly dealt within the regulated time frame.
