Laboratory Manager
Experience Needed:
Minimum MSc in Chemistry (Biochemistry is a plus).
At least 5 years of relevant work experience, with 2+ years in a management role.
Requirements:
Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills.
Team-oriented with the ability to work independently.
Proficient in MS Office.
Duties Include:
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure laboratory equipment performance by establishing quality standards and procedures; oversee repairs and maintenance.
Manage laboratory supplies inventory, including ordering and verifying stock.
Monitor laboratory productivity, making staffing adjustments as necessary.
Participate in quality assurance programs, generating reports and maintaining records.
Maintain laboratory information systems; identify needs and train staff.
Implement new methods and procedures; manage scheduling and operational requirements.
Counsel and evaluate laboratory staff; promote professional development.
Contribute to overall team objectives.
