MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Matric (including mathematics and science)
Certified Radiation Protection Monitor (or equivalent Radiation Protection certification)
Certification in ISO 9001 or related quality training
Certification in ISO 45001 or related safety training
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a SHEQ & Radiation Compliance Support role

Duties Include:
Duties & Responsibilities
SAHPRA Applications
Prepare and review client SAHPRA applications.
Track & expedite submissions with SAHPRA and with clients
Radiation Customer support, communication and administration
Engage professionally with clients, responding to telephone and email queries
Provide customer guidance and administration support.
Isotope Movements and Record Maintenance
Process client isotope requirements upon SO release
Update all isotope movements and Radiation Control records upon SO release
Controlled Area Monitoring
Conduct daily walk through in controlled areas to monitor compliance Co-ordinate monthly inspection, monitoring and reporting
Verify reports as per SAHPRA legal & regulatory compliance requirements
Despatch & Transport compliance & co-ordination
Prepare compliance transport documents for radioactive transport
Verify source holders and transport vehicles compliance for shipment
Leak Test & Disposal Tracking
Verify leak test analysis results to ensure compliance with SAHPRA legal & regulatory requirements
Communicate with stakeholders regarding any leak test related queries
Isotope Stock monitoring
Review isotope stock and forecasting to support Sales and Production functions:
Annual isotope stock take
Change Notifications
Distribute and track SAHPRA change notification forms.
Radiation Filing & Records
Maintain customer database for Radiation Control
Accurate filing, maintenance and updating of record for audits, monthly reports, and client reference.
Continual Improvement
Assistance in streamlining and smart automation of Radiation Control and SHEQ processes and documentation
Quality Management System support
Assist to maintain the quality management system and compliance with ISO standards and company requirements
Expediting Quality non-compliances
Participation in internal quality compliance audits
Document control
Customer support & Administration
Safety Management System support
Assist to maintain the safety management system and compliance with ISO standards and company requirements
Expediting Safety non-compliances
Participation in internal safety compliance audits
