Valid Wireman’s License (advantageous)
Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in MV cable jointing
Experience in substations, renewable energy plants, mining, or industrial projects

Duties Include:
Duties & Responsibilities
Install, joint, and terminate MV cables (typically 6.6kV – 33kV)
Perform cable jointing using heat shrink, cold shrink, and resin techniques
Prepare and install indoor and outdoor terminations
Read and interpret electrical drawings, cable schedules, and single-line diagrams
Conduct insulation resistance testing, phasing, continuity, and sheath testing
Carry out fault finding and repairs on MV cable systems
Ensure correct cable identification, tagging, and documentation
Maintain compliance with safety standards and lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) procedures
Work closely with commissioning teams during energization
Ensure housekeeping and safe working practices on site
Complete daily reports and quality control documentation
