Job Summary:
Fleet Management: Oversee all aspects of fleet management. Monitor and manage fleet operations, wages, tracking, fuel consumption, route planning and scheduling. Constant monitoring of driver and vehicle performance and efficiency & finding ways to improve productivity.
Driver Management: Coordinate driver schedules, routes and assignments, ensure compliance with regulations and Company policies. Assign and ensure execution of tasks to drivers.
Communication: Liaise with drivers on a regular basis providing updates and resolving any issues. Track orders and deliveries.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with Company policies and safety standards.
Vehicles: Coordinate vehicle maintenance to ensure the fleet is maintained, including scheduling of services and COF inspections for vehicles to remain in a safe and roadworthy condition. Monthly inspections and arrangements for services and repairs.
Reporting: Generate reports on fleet performance, efficiency, productivity and any other reporting required by management.
