Experience Needed:
A relevant Bachelor’s degree with Management Accounting (CIMA) as a major.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a financial/accounting role.
Experience in an agricultural, manufacturing, or operationally intensive environment is an advantage.
SAP knowledge is beneficial.
Strong understanding of financial principles and reporting.
Experience working with SAP and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
On-the-job training exposure in accounting functions.

Duties Include:
Purpose of the Job
Senwes Equipment is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to support our finance team in delivering accurate financial and operational analysis, reporting, and internal control measurement. This role requires a proactive individual with a solid grasp of financial principles and strong analytical capabilities to drive insight and support strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial & Operational Analysis and Reporting
Generate and analyse financial and management reports.
Capture and verify financial information with a focus on gross profit accuracy.
Monitor cost variances, perform trend and benchmark analysis, and explain financial deviations.
Conduct market research and comparisons, including scenario and sensitivity analysis.
Provide financial training to business unit managers.
Perform reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
Verify fixed assets and analyse inventory (including obsolete stock tracking).
Monitor targets and productivity, measuring actual results against KPIs and business drivers.
Handle financial enquiries and general accounting functions.
2. System, Process & Procedure Monitoring
Monitor and report on internal control measures and system effectiveness.
Communicate with internal stakeholders to identify weaknesses and areas for improvement.
Assist with the development, testing, and implementation of process changes.
Support system and process training for relevant departments.
3. Budget Preparation
Gather historical financial data and apply financial/economic indicators.
Integrate business model and structural changes into budget forecasts.
Prepare, adjust, and analyse budgets with full reconciliation in SAP.
Ensure clear communication of budget information to relevant stakeholders.
