• Qualified Post Basic Pharmacist’s Assistant;
• Registered with the South African Pharmacy Council;
• Previous experience;
• Strong customer service skills, attention to detail and ability to work well in a team environment;
• Computer literate.
Previous dispensing experience
Duties Include:
• In line with the scope of practice for a qualified post-basic pharmacist’s assistant (or in training) registered with the South African Pharmacy Council;
• Responsible for picking, checking, and the dispatching of goods under the supervision of a pharmacist;
• Communicate with patients and other medical professionals;
• Accurately maintain records and files. Keeping files updated with all current medical/relevant information;
• General administrative duties;
• Be able to make medical aid claims;
• Assisting with rotational and yearly stock take.
