At least 4 years’ experience in a similar role
Proven working experience on the following machines:
V-mag filler or similar machines
Ulma thermoforming or similar machines
Blenders and mincers
Experience in the injection, tumbling and picking of products

Computer literacy in MS Office programmes (Word, Outlook) with Excel at intermediate level
Attributes such as attention to detail, thoroughness and a strong numerical ability will be essential
Strong leadership skills with the ability to discipline and hold staff accountable
Ability to assume responsibility and accountability for personal performance and outcomes
Duties Include:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensuring strict adherence to food safety procedures
Attending customer meetings as required
Documenting, implementing and maintaining product specifications
Optimising production lines and efficiencies
Recording and reporting on production KPIs, e.g. yields
Departmental budgets, including monitoring and reviewing departmental costs
Ensuring continuous maintenance and that downtime is attended to by the maintenance team
Supervising and managing production staff, including scheduling, training and performance evaluations
