Requirements:
Grade 10 or higher (Matric advantageous)
Previous experience as a Griller in a fast-paced kitchen is preferred
Knowledge of food safety & hygiene standards
Ability to work well under pressure (IMPORTANT)
Must be excellent at multi-tasking (IMPORTANT)
Must be excellent at planning ahead (IMPORATANT)
Must be good at producing IDEAS & SOLUTIONS
Physically fit and able to stand for long periods
Willing to work weekends (Friday & Staurday)
Responsible, and have a desire to learn & grow
Duties Include:
Key responsibilities
Prep & grill food items according to company recipes, methods and strict quality standards
Ensure correct portion control & presentation
Monitor cooking times & temperatures
Maintain cleanliness and strict hygiene on grill station, equipment, tools & yourself
Follow food safety & health regulations
Report on inventory & Wastage
Responsible for food preservation & storage
Work in an organised & effecient manner that produces good output
