MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Grade 12 / STD10 / N3 / NQF Level 4 is essential
Electrical Serviceman Certificate is essential
3 Years’ working experience as an Electrical Assistant in a Processing Plant
Valid medical certificate or medically fit to obtain such a certificate

Must have knowledge with regards to fundamentals of electricity
Must be able to identify, inspect, use, maintain and care for engineering hand tools
Must be able to select, use and care for engineering measuring equipment
Must be able to select, use and care for electrical measuring instruments
Duties Include:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Inspect, operate and maintain lighting systems
Identify, inspect and clean electrical machines
Test and inspect single phase domestic installations
Perform routine electrical maintenance on plant equipment
Provide support to electrical artisan to ensure minimal equipment downtime
Ensure work is performed according to relevant electrical standards and procedures
