• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Afrikaans and English.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Solid knowledge of food safety regulations (HACCP, etc.)
• Strong computer literacy (MS Office and reporting systems).
Duties Include:
As our company continues to grow, we are looking for a skilled and motivated Food Safety Officer to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct regular inspections of food preparation and storage areas to ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
• Implement and maintain pest control procedures to prevent contamination risks.
• Manage and investigate complaints related to food safety and hygiene.
• Enforce allergen management practices and ensure compliance with packaging and labelling legislation across the supply chain.
• Support investigations into incidents, accidents, and foodborne illness outbreaks to identify root causes and implement preventive measures.
• Maintain thorough documentation and reporting in line with regulatory and internal requirement
