Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
Professional certification from CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply) added advantage.
Professional Experience:
Minimum 4 years’ procurement experience within mining, manufacturing, and processing plants.
Knowledge of DTI Codes of Good Practice, Mining Charter III, and procurement-related legislation.

About The Position
Job Purpose: We are looking for a proactive and experienced Procurement Officer to join our Supply Chain team within the Mining and Manufacturing environment at Wonderstone Mine in Ottosdal. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring effective sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management to support operational and production requirements while driving cost efficiency and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Main Responsibilities:
Provide procurement expertise to manage and effectively meet operational needs.
Liaise with internal departments and other stakeholders to understand procurement needs.
Procure and place orders for required goods, services, materials, equipment, and construction while ensuring that quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness are achieved.
Request and follow up on quotations to ensure competitive pricing.
Handle procurement-related queries with end users, finance, and suppliers.
Ensure timely, proactive communication with internal customers and stakeholders.
